Trying TikTok’s New Viral Serum: My Experience with Biossance Squalane + Copper Peptide Serum

I was gifted this serum, however if you’re a skincare enthusiast, you must have come across TikTok’s latest sensation – Biossance Squalane + Copper Peptide Serum. With so much hype around this product, I was curious to try it out myself, and I have to say, I was not disappointed!

As someone who struggles with keeping my skin hydrated, I’m always on the lookout for new products that can help me achieve that coveted glow. The Biossance Squalane + Copper Peptide Serum promised to lock in long-lasting hydration, and I was excited to give it a try.

How it feels…

The first thing I noticed about this serum was how lightweight it felt on my skin. It absorbed quickly and didn’t leave any sticky or oily residue, which is a big plus for me. I also appreciated how a little goes a long way. A pea-sized amount was enough to cover my entire face and neck.Biosscance Squalane + Copper Peptide Serum

The serum contains copper peptides, which are known for their hydrating and anti-aging properties. These peptides help to retain moisture in the skin, giving it a plump and youthful appearance. After using this product for just a week, I could feel a noticeable difference in the way my skin felt. It was softer, smoother, and definitely more hydrated!

Another thing I love about this serum is how long-lasting it is. Once I apply it in the morning, it keeps my skin hydrated and glowing throughout the entire workday. It’s perfect for those who don’t have the time or energy to reapply moisturizer throughout the day.

Overall…

I’m really impressed with the Biossance Squalane + Copper Peptide Serum. It’s a game-changer when it comes to keeping my skin hydrated. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new skincare product to add to their routine.

Building New Habits Are So Hard

I’m not calling my New Year Resolutions, resolutions. I’m calling them New Habits, because that is what they are… New habits. And new habits are hard to build. I would like to have working out as one of my new habits. I tell myself this at the beginning of every new year, unfortunately. Will I stick to it? I don’t know. I should. I’m old, out of shape, and concerned with my health. What I do know is that I will NOT be spending a crazy amount of money on workout “things”. I have all the leggings and workout gear I’ve accumulated during the pandemic years that I do not need to shell out anymore money, just to workout.

NewYearResolutions

With that in mind, what I have begun doing is conscious shopping. I’m not very good at it, but this is one habit that I’d really like to stick by. As I become older, I feel less need to want “things”. Materialistic things. Also, the less I want, the more money I’ll save; and saving is the goal as one of my 2023 New Habits.

One of the rules that I’d like to put in place is to, “remove and replace one” item. What does it entail? It means, if I plan on replacing an item, then I will need to discard/recycle the old item. However, the old item can only be replaced if it becomes so unusable and so worn out that it needs to be replaced. This, absolutely, applies to my wardrobe and my shoes.

Other budgetary items on my list: skincare, makeup and haircare products. I will no longer allow myself to purchase an abundance of skincare and makeup items that ends up shelved in the back somewhere. To be honest, I receive a bit of promotional skincare products, so much so that I don’t really need to purchase/replace many. However, when I do get to that point where I have to replace, I will need to replace a lot. I use a lot of skincare products.

As for makeup, I’ve forgone applying foundation or powder. On any typical day, I only use eyebrow liner, mascara, lip balm/lipstick. If I feel spicy, I’ll use eyeliner and/or gold glittery eye shadow. As for haircare products, I only need my Olaplex and the hair bleach I’ve been using lol.

A couple things that I’d love to spend my money on, when I’m not saving and/or investing money, are adventure and food. I think I’d like to get out more this year, being that I’ve deprived myself of this for a while now.

Also, why am I blogging? I haven’t blogged in over a year. I think. I’m going to try to write a blog post here and there, when I have something to say. But you know, new habits are hard.

I’m still pretty new to podcasting, but I hope that one day I’ll be able to upgrade everything. PLUS, I hope to learn the edit the quality of the sound in the future. There is more to podcasting than what I showed you on here. If you’d like to learn more about podcasting, comment down below. Day 2 vlog skincare

Speaking of podcasting, Hey Viv & Stine has a new episode out today! We decided to create a special episode; Christine and I reflected back on 2020 where we basically ranted about all the bad stuff, but we also talked about all the good things that came out of it, too! What was your 2020 like?

I’m also publishing a new episode to my other podcast, This Is For You, tomorrow! I interviewed Jessica Rajs, a Network Marketer and Rep for Monat, and she had such an interesting life story. She’s also amazingly driven and motivational. You can follow her here on Instagram.

I hope you enjoyed today’s vlog. I know it was a little on the longer side, but when you’re talking about skincare it’s bound to happen. LOL. I’ve listed all the skincare products that I use down below, and the equipment I use to podcast. What’s your skincare routine like? Is it as lazy as mine? LOL Please let me know what you thought of my vlog and skincare routine in the comment section. ❤️
